1. Why Camp Dror? Camp Dror will give your child a once in a lifetime experience. The friendships that they create and the relationships that they build with their counselors will be everlasting. Camp Dror is a perfect combination of learning and fun. The campers will be inspired while at the same time enjoy their camp experience.
2. Who is the staff?
Our staff is a group of carefully chosen counselors with experience and has undergone intense staff training.
3. Are there things I should not send with my child?
Do I need to send spending money? We recommend that you do not send anything valuable with your children for fear that things will get lost or ruined. Full board is provided so there is no need to send money. However, if you would like to send spending money for food and other things during days out of camp, we recommend 200 shekels for the summer.
4. How can I contact my child during camp?
In order to contact your child, you can send an e-mail to campdror@ouisrael.org with your child's name as the subject. In addition, you will be given the head counselor's number in case of emergency.
5. What is the Kashrut of the Camp?
The Kashrut of the camp is Mehadrin.
6. Do I need to send bedding?
All bedding is provided but towels should be brought.
7. By When should I apply ?
We will be accepting applications until June 21st, 2012 but it is recommended to register as soon as possible in order to get the early bird discount.
8. What if my child has specific nutritional requirements?
Please inform us of any special requirements so that we can make necessary arrangements.
9. Is there a discount if I send two children?
You will receive a 5% discount on the second child that you enroll. You cannot receive two discounts (both the early bird and second child discount).
10. What happens if I need to cancel?
If you cancel before June 21st, 2012 you will receive a full refund (not including the 250 Shekel registration fee). After June 1st we will assess each situation and make a decision based on the circumstances.
