Director - Chaim Pelzner
Chaim has been Director of Camp Dror for the last five years and has extensive experience in both informal and formal education. Chaim holds a Master's Degree in Education from Bar Ilan University. He is also the Director of the
Jack E. Gindi D'Oraita Program at OU Israel, a program for teens at risk in Northern Israel, as well as a High School teacher.
Girl's Camp Director- Geula Geurts
Geula made Aliyah two years ago from South Africa after spending a year in Midreshet Harova. Her experiences in Israel and her growing love for our Homeland made her decide that this is where she wants to build her future. She has many years of experience in hadracha and has led numerous groups from abroad. She is thrilled to have the privilege to be Rakezet for Camp Dror together with her friend Estie.
Girl's Camp Director- Estie Sterman
Estie Sterman, born and bred in Jerusalem and has been involved with informal education for many years. She served two years of Sherut Leumi, one in a 'garin torani' in Tel Aviv, the next in Midreshet Harova and then an additional year on Shlichut in Perth Australia. She is currently studying graphic design at Shenkar in Tel Aviv and is in charge of "komonariot" for the "Ariel youth movement". She has been a counselor for two years at Camp Dror in the past and, is excited to be part of the Dror family this coming summer for the third time!
Boy's Camp Director - Asher Krimolovsky
Asher has been the head counselor of Camp Dror Boys for the past 6 years. He holds a degree in Education, is a professional tour guide, and has been teaching for the past 15 years. He is married with six children and currently lives in the Gush.
Shira Herskovitz - Administrative Assistant
Shira has spent many summers at camp in Canada both as a camper and as staff before making Aliyah 6 years ago. During the camp season Shira coordinates all administrative aspects of camp, including processing application, coordination off-site logistics, managing the Camp Dror website and much more.
